Creating content does not have to mean starting from scratch every time. One good customer question can become a blog post, social media posts, an email, a video, and an FAQ entry. This approach saves time and keeps your message consistent across channels.

Start With a Strong Question

Choose a question that many customers ask and that relates to a service you want to promote. For example, a heating company might choose “How often should I replace my furnace filter.”

Week One: Write the Core Article

Write a thorough blog post that answers the question, explains the reasons behind it, and offers practical steps. This becomes the foundation for everything else.

Week Two: Create Social Media Posts

Break the article into smaller pieces:

  • A quick tip from the article
  • A photo showing the problem or solution
  • A short myth versus fact post
  • A link to the full article

Each post can stand alone while pointing back to the main content.

Week Three: Send an Email

Summarize the key points in a short email to your customers. Include a link to the article and a gentle reminder about your services.

Week Four: Record a Short Video

Record a brief video answering the question. It does not need to be elaborate. A clear explanation filmed on a phone can be very effective. Share it on social media and embed it in the article.

Add It to Your FAQ

Add a short version of the answer to your FAQ page or relevant service page, with a link to the full article.

Update Your Business Profile

Many business profiles allow posts or updates. Share a short tip and link to the article.

Benefits of This Approach

  • Less time spent coming up with new ideas
  • Consistent messaging across channels
  • More visibility for a single piece of content
  • Content that works for search, social, and email

Repeat the Process

Choose a new question each month. Over a year, you will have twelve strong articles and dozens of supporting posts.
